This childhood favorite gets a delicious upgrade with our authentic balsamic vinegars and our deliciously spicy Baklouti Olive Oil. Quick to make and fun to eat, these are the perfect dinner after a long day at work or when you want something tasty and nostalgic, but don't have the energy to produce a complicated meal. 1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely diced green bell pepper.
1/4 cup finely diced celery
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon of D'Olivo Baklouti Fused Olive Oil
1 – 6oz can of tomato paste
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons D'Olivo A-Premium Balsamic Vinegar
1 tablespoon D'Olivo Neapolitan Herb Balsamic Vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted.
In a large skillet, heat Baklouti Fused Olive Oil and cook beef (add a pinch of salt), onion, celery and bell pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender, stirring to break up any meat. Drain off fat.
In skillet, stir tomato paste, water, garlic, and balsamic vinegars into beef mixture.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot on toasted buns.
